eBay Sellers: Places to get eBay Items

Places to get eBay Items

EBay is a great place in which you can become a reseller with huge profits with only paying for the items. At first you will not have to pay for storage because you will be unlike the brick and mortar store fronts. Store fronts require huge amounts of investment dollars to buy a store full of items, buy/mortgage/lease the store front and pay for a couple employees, which are highly costly! You can essentially run eBay as a power seller right from your own home. Work at home using that extra room, attic, basement or garage as your storage area. And what’s even more important will be that these areas of your home are already stocked with items. I know you just said “what?” Finding cheap items to start you off on eBay is easy if you know where to look.

Most first timers make the mistake of trying to get their feet wet by buying items on sale or clearance in their local stores then try to sell them on eBay. What happens then is that your hidden fees from eBay and Paypal add up. After paying listing, image hosting and money transfer fees you realize that that great deal purchase was a horrible discouraging sale and so will be the others. There are better places to find items to start off your eBay business for huge profits. These eBay tips will start you off on the right track.

You can get items easily and readily from these places that are mostly free to attain.

  1. Household items that you no longer use. Check the attic, basement and garage.
  2. Family, friends and neighbors often have items that they longer use that they will give you for free.
  3. Garage/yard sales are very cheap and may shock you.
  4. Flea markets carry a huge amount of profitable items as well.
  5. Estate sales are those sales where a property house has been foreclosed. Items sold here are items not usually sold and better yet, there cheap giveaways.
  6. Church rummage sales are items donated to churches in order to be sold to raise funds for the church. Antique items can mostly be found here.
  7. Thrift shops are also places where highly profitable items can be found. A friend of mine found a matching Prada bag and dress and paid a total price of $10.00.
  8. Local wholesalers may also be available to you but they require huge amounts of items, sold by the “skid”, to be bought in order to make profits. Warning: If that item was poorly researched you will lose money.

These eight places will be your eBay starter resources that yield great return on investments (ROI) with good profits with essentially little work and wasted time. I know people making over 100K per year on eBay working from home using these eight places to find items. Currently we are making a descent 20K per year from 5hrs a week. EBay is a great business opportunity waiting for you to incorporate their high traffic.
